The bed and breakfast industry has evolved over the years from sharing bathrooms with the lodging’s family members, sleeping in one of their spare bedrooms, and partaking of the family’s morning meal. Now, some of the most unique and inviting accommodations can be found anywhere. According to Colleen Palmer, president of the Mississippi Bed and Breakfast Association, “Mississippi bed and breakfasts are all as unique as the owners who run them, providing guests with a dizzying array of different things to experience throughout the state, but the one thing we all do superbly is provide each guest with true Southern hospitality.”
